Format:

Abstracts are invited on the topics listed above and other areas related to practical aspects or issues related to health care. The abstracts/papers stating clearly the purpose, results or status, and conclusions should be 300-600 words in length (Format A) plus up to three to five references as applicable. The abstracts can be submitted in English or in Spanish. When submitting abstracts in Spanish, it is recommended that a title in English will also be included below the title in Spanish.

The authors have the option of sending papers in Format A  (300 -600 words) OR in Format B (Extended Paper - see below for details) or if desired, in both formats. Poster OR oral presentations.

For information to submit Abstract/Papers - see below.

As both English and Spanish are official languages of the conference, the presentations made during the conference can be made in English or in Spanish. It is strongly recommended that presentations in Spanish will be accompanied by a substantial part of slides in English or at least have some subtitles in English. Authors who submit abstracts in English but intend to give their presentation in Spanish should indicate so. It is strongly recommended that the abstracts will be submitted as soon as possible due to anticipated limit in the abstracts being accepted as well as visa related issues. The publication of the abstracts will be contingent on the payment of the registration.

Instructions for Authors Summary

Your paper must be in compliance with the format requirements. Papers which do not meet the format requirements will not be sent to reviewers. See carefully the templates for papers in English in http://www.pahce.org/P7FormatEN.htm

After filling the submission form, don't forget to upload the file of your paper.  (http://papersub.pahce.org/author/submit.php)

Main Points to Follow and Errors to Avoid

1) Your format A paper should be no longer than one page.   Your format B paper should be between 2 and 4 pages although occasionally papers up top 6 pages can be accepted. Two complete pages represent a minimum length for the format B papers.

2) Correct the format of author's listing: for example, the list of authors James Dewey Watson and Francis Harry Compton Crick must be included as

 MRI Acoustic Noise Reduction
J. D. Watson1, F. H. C. Crick2
1Department of Medical Physics, Indiana University, IN, USA
2Department of Electronic Engineering, University College, London, UK
Email: j.d.watson@gmepe.org; Ph. (123) 456-7890

If all authors are bound to the same institution, it is not necessary to use the superscript index. Telephone number optional.

3) Do not include the conference headers and page numbers: conference headers and page numbers will be included by GMEPE/PAHCE Team during the DVD proceedings preparation.

4) Correct the title format: do not use only uppercase letters, see templates

5) Do not use italic in the abstract.

6) Pay attention to the upper, lower, and side margins, indenting settings and setbacks; see templates.

7) Use the abbreviation “Fig.” for figure references: the correct way of referencing a figure along the text is using “Fig.”, even at the beginning of a sentence.

8) Adjust the format of subsections: centralize the titles of the sections I, II, III …, and References and use Roman numbers in titles; attention to the tabulation and setbacks; see templates for Format B papers.
