Welcome to the 2016 Global Medical Engineering & Physics Exchanges (GMEPE) & Pan
American Health Care Exchanges (PAHCE). It
will take place for the first time in Europe.
This congress encompasses the areas of “Medical Engineering and Physics” and
extends related themes of the past ten PAHCE congresses held on the American
continent,
by combining them with the “Medical
Physics”. Being equally essential area of health care, this undertaking offers
new opportunities to the participants. Very distinct,
but at the same time very often closely related topics encompassing
Medical Engineering &
Physics, shape this
congress as an interdisciplinary and
multifaceted experience.
In
addition, this meeting has been designed to facilitate opportunities for
scientific cooperation and linkages among those in academia, independent
researchers, and professionals of the health care delivery and related
technologies, including colleagues from research centers, universities,
hospitals, and medical industry. The main structured segments and technical
activities of this congress include: six special sessions,
six standard scientific sessions, eight specialized workshops and three plenary
panels. Also, the aim of the congress is to continue providing an opportunity
for the selected papers
to be indexed by IEEEXplore as well as related global databases and to be
published as a part of the IEEE Library. As the majority of the presentations
are accompanied by a full-length format papers, this offers in depth
professional enrichment. The size of the congress is intentionally restricted to
maintain a personalized character so each participant has an opportunity to
interact with all rather to be just one in a large unknown crowd.
We
hope that all participants will have a rewarding time and find GMEPE activities
stimulating to develop new ideas, establishing
cooperative and personal contacts. Also, let’s remember to discover during the
spring season Madrid as the city which offers unique cultural, culinary, and
many other experiences.
